Look at a leaf from a few inches away and you might notice an insect, a silk thread or the pattern of its veins. A clip-on lens can help your phone record what you find.
Try one leaf
- Choose a leaf in good natural light. Look at both sides without pulling it from the plant.
- Clip the macro lens over your phone's main camera. Check the preview for dark corners and realign it if needed.
- Move the phone slowly toward a still subject until a detail becomes sharp. Brace your hands, tap to focus and take several frames.
- Leave insects and eggs where you found them. Record their plant and location in your notebook.
